An artbook containing concept art for a world that houses 12 animal gods, each based on one of the animals from the Chinese zodiac. Each god represents a different value or desirable trait, so for thousands of years they were worshipped by their followers, until the world began transitioning to a modern age. Because they
were losing their influence and life force, the gods turned on the humans and started terrorizing them or inflicting horrible disasters. The main storyline follows the gods’ human counterparts, who basically serve as vessels for their spirit energy, and their journey to kill each of their respective gods to save humankind.
